Medical Assistant/Receptionist

Looking for a candidate with MULTI SPECIALITY Clinic experience, a team player who can work in a fast-paced front office environment for a physician in McKinney.

Compensation:    competitive

Employment Type:   Part-time

Responsibilities:

Looking for a polite and well-mannered individual who is a team player, diligent and takes pride in their work.  Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Checking and answering phone calls first thing in the morning
  • Checking insurance eligibility and verifying benefits for MH out-patient office visit AND Podiatry eligibility
  • Making, canceling and rescheduling appointments
  • Collecting balances, copayments and deductibles
  • Filling refill request
  • Prior Authorization
  • Handling Disability paperwork
  • Checking and addressing faxes
  • Copying/Scanning/faxing
  • Maintaining good relations with patients and office staff
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the office.
  • Marketing

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years’ experience of a medical office
  • Multitasking
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Clean background history
  • Friendly and bilingual
